Parvus to Introduce Mobile Information Infrastructure (M2i(TM)) at International Transportation Expo Sept. 26-28.

SALT LAKE CITY -- Parvus to Demonstrate M2i(TM) Modular Technology Platform for Bus/Train On-Vehicle Networking, Data Acquisition, Internet Access, GPS Tracking and Video Surveillance

Parvus Corp. today announced it will demonstrate its new Mobile Information Infrastructure (M2i(TM)) solution at the APTA APTA American Physical Therapy Association.  International Public Transportation Expo (Booth No. 5348) held in Dallas, Sept. 26-28.

The Mobile Information Infrastructure (M2i(TM)) is a comprehensive transit hardware technology platform merging intelligent and highly robust in-vehicle telematics, data processing, network communication and video surveillance devices. Configurable to suit a wide variety of desired applications, M2i brings modularity, flexibility and high reliability to mobile on-vehicle computing.

Buses, trains and other vehicles can integrate some or all of M2i's distributed subsystems to enable next-generation on-vehicle wireless connectivity, data acquisition, GPS positioning, security and communication solutions. Incorporating robust vehicle power supplies, solid-state Flash storage and intelligent Intel/AMD processors, each subsystem is hardware compatible with all major real-time and embedded operating systems (Windows XP Embedded An enhanced version of Windows XP for compact applications such as PDAs, handhelds and other appliances that use the x86 CPU. It supports such features as CompactPCI and the ability to boot from flash memory or CD-ROM. , CE, QNX A multiuser, multitasking, real time operating system for PCs from QNX Software Systems, Ltd., Ottawa, Ontario (www.qnx.com), that is noted for its low-memory requirement and rapid response. Similar to Unix, it has been in use since the early 1980s. , Linux) and ready to install customer software applications.

Optimized for mass transit and other mobile vehicle environments, M2i is hardened for any transportation system environment and configurable to meet the needs of both new and in-service vehicles. M2i offers a wide operating temperature range and resistance against humidity, dust, shock, vibration and rain.
