Partnership Offers Liability Cover for Lawyers.


Target Capital and Gulf Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Travelers Insurance, have entered a partnership to provide lawyers with professional liability insurance and claims-administration services.

The program, Ontarget Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance, has coverage available to solo practitioners and law firms This list of the world's largest law firms by revenue is taken from The Lawyer and The American Lawyer and is ordered by 2006 revenue:[1]
  1. Clifford Chance, £1,030.2m – International law firm (headquartered in the UK);
  2. Linklaters, £935.
 with up to 75 attorneys. Under the terms of the program contract, Target Capital will have authority to underwrite To insure; to sell an issue of stocks and bonds or to guarantee the purchase of unsold stocks and bonds after a public issue.

The word underwrite has two meanings.

In addition to Target Capital's underwriting Underwriting

1. The process by which investment bankers raise investment capital from investors on behalf of corporations and governments that are issuing securities (both equity and debt).

2. The process of issuing insurance policies.

Policies are available for notaries public, title agents, arbitration/mediation coverage, defendants reimbursement Reimbursement
