Part of South African newsprint business to be bought.PART OF SOUTH AFRICAN NEWSPRINT BUSINESS TO BE BOUGHT. Millennium Consolidated Investments (MCI) Resources, South Africa, will purchase a 42% stake in Anglo American's South African newsprint business for R 460 million (US$ 72.3 million) according to a report by Johannesburg Business Day. Anglo said that it plans to sell half of the stake to "black empowerment partners" with 8% designated for Mondi employees and local communities. The total value of the transactions is R 550million (US$ 86.5 million).
