Parker FiberNet Chooses Terawave PON for CLEC Voice and Data Services in Athens, Georgia.


HAYWARD, Calif. -- Terawave Communications (www.terawave.com) today announced that Parker FiberNet is using Terawave Passive Optical Networking Communications between computers, telephones and other electronic devices using light. An optical network is far more reliable and has far greater potential transmission capacity than networking in the electrical domain. Parker FiberNet places Terawave TW-600 OLTs at their SONET nodes, delivering broadband services over 622 Mbps symmetrical PON to multiple subscribers on a single fiber.
