Park Plaza International Gives Heyde Companies Long Term Territorial Agreement.


SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1997--Park Plaza International Hotels and Resorts today announces a long term territorial development agreement with Dennis L. Heyde, president of Heyde Companies, based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin Chippewa Falls, named after the Chippewa Indians, is a city located on the Chippewa River in Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 12,925 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Chippewa CountyGR6. .

Under the agreement, Dennis Heyde has exclusive rights to franchise hotels for Park Inns International through conversions of other brands and new construction within the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota.

 and were founded by Dennis Heyde in 1981. The companies have a staff of over 400. Heyde opened his first Park Inn in Chippewa Falls Chippewa Falls, city (1990 pop. 12,727), seat of Chippewa co., W central Wis., on the Chippewa River; settled 1837, inc. as a city 1869. Originally a lumbering town, Chippewa Falls once had the world's largest sawmill.  in 1995. Heyde Companies also operates 2 restaurants, A Dinner Theater, 3 travel agencies and a distribution company just to name a few.

The hotel project will be headed by Bob Dezotell, director of hotel development for Heyde Companies. Dezotell is a long time hospitality industry veteran with full operating experience as well as a background in new development, renovation and revitalization re·vi·tal·ize

Dezotell says, "Our immediate objective is to develop 4 hotels in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin before Sept. 1, 1998. Within 5 years, we plan on 15 properties.
