Park Hill adds new hedge fund unit.


Park Hill Group, the global alternative asset placement agency, has announced the establishment of a new hedge fund hedge fund, in finance, a highly speculative, largely unregulated investment device. Originating in the 1950s, the funds "hedge" by offsetting "short" positions (borrowing a security and then selling it at a higher price before repaying the lender) against "long"  unit to complement its existing private equity business.

This new hedge fund unit will be headed by Alexander Moomjy and Patrick Daly in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 and Peter Mayer in London, all formerly of Credit Suisse's Private Fund Group. They are joined by senior distribution executive, Annie Belanger, formerly of Conquest Capital, in New York. Also joining are Paul Hudson

Park Hill will also be expanding its private equity business.
