Parasoft, provider of Automated Error Prevention software solutions announced recently the general availability of Parasoft SOAPtest 2.1 with support for Basic Profile 1.0, a set of specifications developed by the Web Services Interoperability Organization (WS-I) that establishes a baseline for interoperable Web services.
"Parasoft has been actively involved in the development of Basic Profile 1.0 and we strongly believe that having a standard set of guidelines will positively effect the industry's ability to build Web Services that interoperate See interoperable. properly," said Gary Brunell, Parasoft vice president of professional services. "Not only is development of SOAPtest influenced by WS-I, but we have also been working as part of a small subset of companies within the organization on the development of the WS-I testing tools."
