Panther Mountain develops family-oriented amusement parks and recreational facilities. The company owns and operates a "wild west pioneer" theme park originally constructed in 1952 called Frontier Town located in North Hudson, Essex County, N.Y., and plans another to be called Frontier Town Missouri just outside of Branson, Mo.

Frontier Town in New York is a re-creation of an 1850's wild west frontier town featuring antique stagecoaches, pony express, cavalry, a fort, Native American Indian village, a rodeo arena, a water powered grist mill, a steam powered saw mill, a forge, a steam powered railroad, horses, cattle and other assorted animals, and a motel facility.

The proposed Frontier Town Missouri in Branson will be the first of its kind to the area. On January 10, 1997, Venture Resources L.L.C. funded an equity investment of $10,000,000 for the capital improvement and development of the new theme park. Panther Mountain plans for the proposed park to have attractions similar to the 308 acre North Hudson, N.Y., location, but on a larger scale.

Branson, Missouri, is known as the "Live Country Music Capital of the World," with almost 40 live performance theaters. Branson is ranked the number two automobile destination in the U.S., second to Orlando's Walt Disney World Noun 1. Panther Mountian-Missouri, Inc. has purchased over 800 acres and buildings to complement its existing 250 acre site with frontage on three sides including Highways 160 and 248 just north of Branson, Missouri. The Branson Chamber of Commerce has advised the area is in need of family oriented daytime activity and the property can support up to four theme parks. Completion is scheduled for Spring, 1998.
