Panel-less retort bottle is an industry first.

North America's first panel-less retort bottle was introduced by packaging giant Sonoco, Hartsville, S.C. The six-layer PP bottle with 38-mm neck offers oxygen barrier and stands up to retort sterilization sterilization

Any surgical procedure intended to end fertility permanently (see contraception). Such operations remove or interrupt the anatomical pathways through which the cells involved in fertilization travel (see reproductive system).
without the internal panels or ribs found in typical retort bottles. What's more, the bottle's curved rather than dimpled shape eliminates wrinkled shrink-sleeve labels. Finite element analysis Finite element analysis (FEA) is a computer simulation technique used in engineering analysis. It uses a numerical technique called the finite element method (FEM). There are many finite element software packages, both free and proprietary.  (FEA (Finite Element Analysis) A mathematical technique for analyzing stress, which breaks down a physical structure into substructures called "finite elements." The finite elements and their interrelationships are converted into equation form and solved mathematically. ) was used to design the bottle to withstand the pressure and vacuum of retort filling. The first commercial application is an 11-oz ready-to-drink coffee bottle from Kanpak, Arkansas City Arkansas City (ärkăn`zəs), city (1990 pop. 12,762), Cowley co., S Kans., at the confluence of the Arkansas and Walnut rivers, near the Okla. border; inc. 1872. , Kan. Sonoco is also working on 8-oz bottles for shelf-stable, dairy-based beverages and foods. Tel: (843) 383-7794 * www.sonoco.com
