Panasonic Introduces Two Powerhouse MFPs That Meet the Demand for High Speed Performance.SECAUCUS, N.J. -- The WORKiO(R) DP-8130 and DP-6530 Handle High-Volume Document Production and Management in Networked Environments Many businesses require digital imaging systems that can process and organize vast amounts of information. Panasonic's new WORKiO DP-8130 and DP-6530 MFP (MultiFunction Printer, MultiFunction Peripheral) See all-in-one and MFD. products are well-suited to the task, offering fast copy output and production printing, as well as a multitude of document management features such as network scanning and extensive network-ready functionality. The DP-8130 and DP-6530 copy and print at speeds up to 81 ppm and 65 ppm respectively, and provide crisp image quality for both copy and print output. With their excellent paper-handling capability these new workhorses are an affordable, upgradeable, multifunctional alternative to larger, more expensive copying/printing systems. The DP-8130 and DP-6530, which carry MSRPs(1) of $33,479. and $24,479. respectively, offer an array of solutions that appeal to many print-on-demand (POD) users. Both models come with a standard 32MB page memory board and a 10GB hard disk drive, ideal for users who frequently work with large-volume and graphics-heavy documents that require a large amount of storage space. The touch screen control panel, with its large concave Concave Property that a curve is below a straight line connecting two end points. If the curve falls above the straight line, it is called convex. buttons, is readily visible and easy to use for visually challenged people. In addition, the LCD touch panel is designed for easy recognition and features display guides that provide easy, step-by-step instructions. With the optional Document Controller (DC), users can control the entire document workflow from almost anywhere in their office. The DC provides a virtually seamless bridge between electronic and paper documents in a network, enabling integrated scanning and filing functions (scan-to-file) and Internet connectivity functions (scan-to-email/scan-to-Internet fax). Document input, transmission, editing, output, and storage or filing capabilities enable both MFPs, when equipped with the DC, to handle the most demanding document workflow. The DP-8130 and DP-6530 come with a stackless, automatic duplexing unit, which ensures productive duplex printing The ability to print on both sides of the paper. while reducing paper jams. Fast, accurate paper feeding is accomplished with the sheet-through type reversing automatic document feeder In multifunction or all-in-one printers, fax machines, photocopiers and scanners, Automatic Document Feeder or ADF is a feature which takes several pages and feeds the paper one page at a time into the scanner, allowing the user to scan (and thereby copy, print, or fax) (RADF RADF Reversing Automatic Document Feeder RADF radarfind (US DoD) RADF Reverse Automatic Document Feeder ). Additionally, the RADF has internal sensing and paper transport mechanisms, enhanced two-sided scanning speed and increased copy accuracy. It ensures accurate handling of large print jobs of two-sided originals, making it ideal for professional users in markets such as POD. The 3,600-sheet standard paper capacity can be boosted to 7,600 by adding a large-capacity feeder. Two finishing options are offered as well as a hole-punch unit, which is available only when one of the finishers is installed. With the finishing and hole punch
