Palm Beach Bar adopts anti-discrimination policy.


The Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Bar Association voted unanimously to adopt a comprehensive anti-discrimination policy covering employment and membership.

The policy reads: "The Palm Beach County Bar Association is committed to a policy of inclusion and diversity with respect to the composition of its staff, its membership, the chairs and members of its committees, and its officers. Consistent with this policy of promoting inclusiveness and diversity, the association does not discriminate against any individual because of such individual's actual or perceived race, color, national origin, citizenship status, religion, creed, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation sexual orientation

 Hoch, who serves on the association's Diversity and Gender Sensitivity Committee. "It is impressive that the board of directors promptly took action to enact a comprehensive anti-discrimination policy."
