Uniform System for Managing Decision Process for Third-Party Code and Licenses

Palamida IP Authorizer v1.0 provides a multi-tier, customizable workflow and a central system for developers to request permission to use third party products and licenses. When developers make a request, the product prompts them to include pertinent information such as planned use of the product as well as details of the implementation. The software inserts the license and product details associated with the request, including a description, copyright notices and other disclaimers. New requests are automatically compared to a database of previously approved and denied requests, and against the company's IP policy, to enable instantaneous answers where possible. Instant approvals or denials are accompanied by a clear, detailed explanation and customizable use requirements.

Where previous approvals or denials are not relevant, the new request is automatically routed to legal counsel or business managers for review, depending on the company's business process. Developers and managers can monitor the progress of requests through a dashboard (1) See Mac Dashboard.
