To bring in or take out illicitly or by stealth. a large consignment of drugs worth RS. 5,00,00,000/- in the international market from Gen area Jiwani, few kilometres away from Gwadar (Balochistan). PCG officials intercepted a vehicle No. QAF-8811 while it was by passing the Check Post. The occupants on seeing the coast Guards officials left the vehicle and managed to flee in the thickly bushes taking advantage of darkness. During the checking, PCG officials recovered 5000 kilograms of Hashish hashish (hăsh`ēsh, –ĭsh), resin extracted from the flower clusters and top leaves of the hemp plant, Cannabis sativa, and C. indica. concealed in the false cavities of the vehicle. This drug consignment of Hashish was to be smuggled to Gulf/ European countries. Further investigation is underway by the interrogation team to unearth the gang involved in this menace.
