PaineWebber adds seven additional Kidder, Peabody professionals to its Municipal Securities Group.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1994--Seven additional Kidder, Peabody municipal investment banking professionals have joined PaineWebber, it was announced today by Terry L. Atkinson, Managing Director of PaineWebber's Municipal Securities Group. These additions will further strengthen PaineWebber's capabilities in several strategic areas, including water and sewer, corporate-related debt, New York New York, state, United States

With more than 13 years experience in municipal finance, Paul E. Ladd has extensive expertise in water and waste water finance, serving as lead banker for a wide variety of municipal water and sewer authorities nationwide. As managing director of Kidder, Peabody's Municipal Utility Group, he was responsible for all of the firm's water and waste water financings. He also played a key role in designing and structuring state revolving funds for the firm's municipal clients, an area where Kidder, Peabody has been the industry leader since 1989. William B. Holmberg has more than 20 years experience in corporate and public finance. At Kidder, Peabody, he was a senior vice president in the Public Finance department, with broad experience in all types of general obligation and revenue bond financings. Most recently, he has focused on corporate and project finance related tax-exempt issues, as well as municipal issues for Puerto Rico and the City of Baltimore. A past member of public finance committees for both the Securities Industry Association and the Public Securities Association, Holmberg's expertise on public finance issues has been sought by both houses of Congress, as well as state legislatures.
