Cricket and Bowling Club are hosting a series of junior coaching sessions with the aim of setting up a junior soccer section next season. A professional development centre coach will be running sessions for all 7-11 year-olds, which take place on Saturdays, February 18, 25 and March 3, at Paddock C&BC. Funded by the Big Lottery lottery, scheme for distributing prizes by lot or other method of chance selection to persons who have paid for the opportunity to win. The term is not applicable when lots are drawn without payment by the interested parties to determine some matter, e.g. Awards For All, they is being held in conjunction with Royds Hall High, Crow Lane Junior and Paddock Junior, Infant and Nursery Schools. The 90-minute sessions cost pounds 1, and take place from 10am to 11.30am. Additional sessions will follow the pilot programme with the aim of creating a junior football section for the 2012-13 season at the club.
