Pacific Safety Products Inc. Announces Corporate Re-Organization.

KELOWNA, British Columbia -- Pacific Safety Products Inc. - (TSX VENTURE:PSP) - ("PSP" or "the Company") - is pleased to announce that Mr. Gerald Bush has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) for PSP's Canadian operations. Since January of this year Mr. Bush has worked with PSP providing program management services for the Fragmentation Protective Vest and Horizon 1 Coverall contracts, successfully bringing both these important programs into production. "PSP is poised for strong growth over the next 2 years," said Brad Field, President and CEO, "and Gerry has the breadth and depth of management experience to successfully lead PSP Canada through this exciting period."

Mr. Bush brings experience from the defense and aerospace industry where he has held progressively senior positions. Most recently he served as President, Space and Technology Group at EMS Technologies Inc. Mr. Bush has a Ph.D. in Engineering from Concordia University and an MBA degree from Queens University. He will report directly to Brad Field, the Chief Executive Officer.

"The appointment of Bush to the COO position will let me focus more time on strategic initiatives," said Field. "The U.S. market is extremely important to PSP and we are moving forward with plans to increase our activity and presence in this region of the world."

Effective immediately Mr. Brad Ditchfield has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, U.S. Business Development. Mr. Ditchfield has been a member of the PSP team since October 2000 and has held the positions of Director of Product Development and most recently the Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining PSP Mr. Ditchfield held positions with major U.S. based law enforcement companies such as Armor Holdings Inc., Safariland Ltd. Inc. and Point Blank Body Armor.

PSP is also pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Cynthia Mooney as the Director of Sales, U.S. Federal Law Enforcement and Military. Ms. Mooney has a BS in Apparel Design from Syracuse University and a MS in Textiles from Cornell University, in addition to being a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College's Program Management Course. Ms. Mooney spent 14 years with the US Government managing Soldier System programs, and was most recently Director of Government/Military Programs and Sales with Armor Holdings Inc.
