The set-top box descrambles the premium channels and provides a tuner for the higher cable numbers that very old TVs did not support.  contract with Viasat Broadcasting, the largest commercial TV operator in Northern Europe. Viasat will utilise Pace's latest satellite digital set-top box platform with PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) The worldwide voice telephone network. Once only an analog system, the heart of most telephone networks today is all digital. In the U.S.  modem to continue its successful roll-out of digital pay-TV in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. The approach is highly cost-effective and can accelerate operator 'time to market', whilst at the same time taking advantage of the latest concepts in set-top box technology.
