as their distributor to market the company's HIV HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), either of two closely related retroviruses that invade T-helper lymphocytes and are responsible for AIDS. There are two types of HIV: HIV-1 and HIV-2. HIV-1 is responsible for the vast majority of AIDS in the United States.  Diagnostic Kits in Europe.

Laboserv has already placed and paid for an initial order of 100,000 tests. The first shipment of kits, to be marketed under the name NOHIV LOGIC, has already arrived in Germany, where they are to be distributed by NOHIV, Inc., Niederlassung Deutschland.

Mr. Gunter Boensch, President of Laboserv, stated that his company chose the Pace product because of its superior performance characteristics. These were confirmed in German studies performed by Professor Biro at the University of Saarland. Professor Biro reported results from a trial of approximately 250 patients, where he found 100 percent correlation with the most accurate test currently used which may cost up to 50 times as much as the NOHIV test. Dr. Jeremy Clapp, President of Pace, said he was impressed by the energy of the managements of Laboserv and NOHIV and their introductory marketing campaign. A press conference was held in Hamburg Hamburg, city, Germany

The weekly TV program, "Schreinernakers", aired the topic for 45 minutes on their inaugural show of the season, included an interview with Gunter Boensch. During the show, a phone-in indicated that nearly 70 percent of the 40,000 people responding would buy the over-the-counter product. An HIV positive patient also successfully performed a live test during the show.

Dr. Clapp said that both Pace and Laboserv expect large sales from Europe. The Pace Test is the first of its kind packaged for the over-the-counter European market, and the results of Professor Biro's trials have generated much interest in the scientific community. Pace is achieving acceptable profits from the initial orders and expectations for increased revenue are high as volume grows and the cost of manufacture decreases.
