PWRDF staffer to leave fund.


Rob Shropshire Shropshire (shrŏp`shĭr, –shər), county (1991 pop. 401,600), 1,348 sq mi (3,491 sq km), W England. It is also sometimes called Salop. The county seat is Shrewsbury.  is leaving his job as development team co-ordinator of the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF PWRDF Primate's World Relief and Development Fund ) to join the Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma.  Human Rights Foundation as program manager in mid-April.

"We feel such pride that his outstanding work on human rights is being recognized," said PWRDF executive director Andrew Ignatieff, who called his staffer the fund's corporate memory. "But at the same time we are deeply saddened. It's a terrible loss."

Mr. Shropshire, who was traveling in Burundi and could not be reached for comment, was responsible for PWRDF's program in the Great Lakes region The Great Lakes region can refer to:
  • Great Lakes region (North America)
  • African Great Lakes region
 of Africa, including Rwanda.
