According to market development manager Richard Schmidt, AquaSol overcomes problems with gels and smoking during extrusion experienced in past attempts to commercialize a melt-processable PVOH, AquaSol reportedly can be processed easily in conventional LL/LDPE blown film equipment. The company is also performing injection molding field trials in applications where LDPE LDPE
