PUTTING PETS FIRST AREA KIWANIS CLUBS TO HOLD PET FAIR TO RAISE MONEY FOR WORTHY CAUSE.

 during the Second Annual Pet Fair and Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Disabled American Veterans The Disabled American Veterans, or DAV, is an organization for disabled veterans that helps them and their families through various means. It currently has over 1.2 million members.

The Pet Fair and Show is sponsored by the Kiwanis Clubs of the West Valley, which includes clubs in Chatsworth, Northridge, Van Nuys, Canoga Park, Woodland Hills, Warner Center, Tarzana and Calabasas.

All proceeds will go to Children's Assault Treatment Services at Northridge Medical Center, Spooner said.

He explained that the Kiwanis clubs wanted to do a large project that would be a fundraiser for a worthy cause and a community service project where children would learn how to better care for their pets.

Vendor space is still available, Spooner said.
