SAN DIEGO -- PURE Bioscience (OTCBB:PURE), creators of patented silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC), the active ingredient in a revolutionary new hard surface disinfectant which kills Staph/MRSA as well as other human pathogens, donated more than 1,000 bottles of its disinfectant product to the Qualcomm Stadium evacuation facility yesterday in an effort to support a hygienic environment and protect those who have been displaced by the devastating San Diego County wildfires.

The Tulsa County Jail previously reported that during the 14 months it has used the SDC-based product, it has completely eliminated Staph infections, including MRSA, since its introduction in August 2006. The Tulsa jail, with 1,700 cells and more than 1,500 inmates, had historically faced challenges with Staph. Prior to its use of the SDC disinfectant, the facility experienced, on average, 12 cases of Staph infection every month.
