POST-PREGNANCY PLAN: If you're a new mommy adjusting to the demands of parenthood, a supermodel probably isn't the first person you'd think to ask for advice. Yet Vendela, who has posed on covers of more than 100 magazines including the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is published annually by Sports Illustrated magazine. It features top fashion models wearing designer swimwear in exotic locales. New issues come out around the middle of February or later. It was first published in 1964. , has put out a surprisingly down-to-earth book called ``Model Mommy'' (Contemporary Books, $19.95). Vendela, a mother of two, discusses techniques for dealing with the often overwhelming emotions and anxieties that accompany new motherhood. Her fitness routine to get back into shape includes chapters on stretching, cardio workouts, strength training and exercising with your baby. The book provides quick and healthy recipes to lose the pounds, as well as tips on making your own baby food. At the very least, it's a comfort to know that even model mommies sometimes get stressed out.
