The vata portion of the exercise program incorporates more dance moves and is meant to be warming and calming. The pitta workout is more high-intensity, with martial-arts moves in the mix. The kapha section is more challenging, fun and lively, and is meant to motivate exercisers with aerobics elements that build strength and endurance.

There is also a portion of the DVD where Coffey takes viewers through the basics of ayurveda and explains how to go about the day the ayurvedic way. ``There are millions of yoga tapes out there, so we wanted to do something different,'' she says.

The DVD is available in stores and online for $12.99. For more information about dosha yoga, visit www.doshayoga.com. To determine your own dosha, there's also a free quiz at www.whatsyourdosha.com.
