HEALING TOUCHES: ``Alias'' star Greg Grunberg is hosting a celebrity art auction, ``Hollywood Helping Hands,'' 7 p.m. Thursday night at the Avalon Hollywood.

The money raised at the event will benefit the Pediatric pediatric /pe·di·at·ric/ (pe?de-at´rik) pertaining to the health of children.

. Grunberg's son Jake, 9, was diagnosed with epilepsy two years ago.

Grunberg says his son suffered up to 300 seizures every day before significantly improving under the care of pediatric neurologist Dr. Raman Sankar.

The auction will feature nearly 200 celebrity-created finger paintings from the likes of Jennifer Garner, Sylvester Stallone and Kevin Kline. Gibson Guitars donated 50 instruments finger-painted by rock legends including Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr and Pete Townshend. The event also will feature live stand-up comedy and performances by four bands.

Now the boutique, which sells second-hand designer fashions at a discount, is closing June 30 to make way for a new grocery store. During the past five years, the shop has raised $275,000 to benefit the foundation, which was established by Smith's parents in 1984.

Until then, shoppers can buy high fashion at low prices - all for a good cause. You can also donate fashions to the boutique.
