PULSE IT'S ALL IN THE DELIVERY.When Irene Zutell went into labor with her first child, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her husband, Larry Bleidner, and the doctor who was supposed to deliver the baby were squabbling. Tired of trying to get their attention, she turned to her husband and yelled, ``I'll never have sex with you again.'' The outburst got their attention and soon a baby girl, Olivia, was born. What really surprised Bleidner was when Zutell later decided her words would make a great book title. So the Woodland Hills couple began collecting funny childbirth stories. ``I'll Never Have Sex With You Again! Tales From the Delivery Room'' (Simon & Schuster Simon & Schuster U.S. publishing company. It was founded in 1924 by Richard L. Simon (1899–1960) and M. Zutell, who has written for US Weekly and People, and Bleidner, co-author of ``The L & L Beancounter's Catalog,'' talked about getting a laugh out of labor. Q: Why write a humor book about childbirth? ZUTELL: So many people tell you horror stories. I thought, hey, let's do something that makes people laugh instead of being afraid of the unknown. BLEIDNER: Books about pregnancy and childbirth are largely instructional. This is the only one I'm aware of that's strictly for laughs and fun. Q: Was it difficult to find funny stories? ZUTELL: Some we found through friends of friends, word of mouth. I got a lot of people though midwife groups. So many people say they don't have a story. We found almost everyone has a story. Some just took a long time to get it out. BLEIDNER: What surprised me is how many guys contributed stories. I thought it would be females only. It's really true, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. The tough guys can come unglued un·glued adj. 1. Loosened or separated; unfastened. 2. Informal In confused distress; upset.
