He won it

Democrats: Well, the time has come to accept the fact that George W. Bush has won the presidency. He was not given the victory. He won it by a majority of the electoral votes. Sure, you can recount the ballots any way you like and manufacture any result you prefer. That's exactly what you Democrats wanted to do: manufacture a result. Thank God, the U.S. Supreme Court stopped you.

You need to understand that the Democrats are no longer in power. It is my hope that George W. Bush will stand by his campaign promises and not bend to the whining and sniveling sniv·el

Poor Joe

Now that the election is finally over, my sympathies lie with Joe Lieberman Joseph Isadore "Joe" Lieberman (born February 24, 1942) is an American politician from Connecticut. Lieberman was first elected to the United States Senate in 1988, and was elected to his fourth term on November 7, 2006. In the 2000 U.S. . Here is a man who was purportedly chosen as a result of his high moral standing and his strong stands on principles, many of which he immediately renounced after being named to the ticket in order to fall into step with eco-nut Al Gore.

Then after the election was over, we agonizingly watched him mug for the cameras, over and over again, having to repeat the Democrat lie: We are just trying to ensure that all votes are counted. One can only hope that Lieberman manages to salvage some of the respect and credibility he once had from both sides of the aisle.

Good taste and dignity

I think living too close to the ocean must water-log some brains. All this overly dramatic left-wing whining I keep reading in the Public Forum would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

For the past eight years the Clintons have caused this country to be embarrassed and degraded on the world stage with lies, hypocrisy and out- and-out trashy antics. Thank God for George W. He and Laura Bush will restore the good taste and dignity that have been sorely missing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. since 1992.

Just convictions

Having lost the presidency, the Democrats rage that the U.S. Supreme Court justices voted their politics. After reading the several accompanying opinions, we are instead persuaded and encouraged that the justices simply voted their convictions.

Republican Supreme Court

The presidency was decided by a hypocritical, biased Republican Supreme Court that disenfranchised millions of voters by not allowing legally cast votes to be counted, thus casting a pall over our democracy.

When is a good time?

If I remember correctly, the Democratic leadership wanted to delay any court action against President Clinton until he was no longer in office.

The new mantra is don't prosecute Clinton in Arkansas or ban him from being a lawyer. The loyalty of these Democrats to the worst president we've ever had is unbelievable.

Rotate it

When I vote, I put the stylus in the hole in the voting machine opposite the person or proposition I select. I push it vigorously through that hole. I then rotate the stylus in a circular manner.

I don't spin it or twist it. I rotate it. In that way I can be certain that there will be no hanging or dimpled chad. I think any intelligent person would do likewise.
