PUBLIC FORUM : SIMI BICYCLIST SPENDS HER RIDE DODGING TRASH.


My husband and I are proud residents of Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  and have been for over eight years. Just like all towns, we have seen growth, but Simi Valley always seems to keep that small-town warmth, except if you're one of the hundreds of cyclists This is an incomplete list.  who loves to ride here. One might think we live in a garbage garbage: see solid waste.  dump. While riding this past Saturday, I took a spill, not because I can't ride.  are so chewed up and full of glass and debris? We tried the bike path - if you want to spend most of your ride getting on and off your bike.

So, fellow citizens, next time your arm goes out the window with something to drop, remember me and the shoulder full of glass and cement.
