PUBLIC'S HELP SOUGHT IN IDENTIFYING DEAD MAN.

LANCASTER -- Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County coroner's officials are trying to find anyone who knew a middle-age homeless man found dead last month where he had apparently been sleeping next to an Antelope Valley Freeway The Antelope Valley Freeway is a freeway in Los Angeles and Kern counties in southern California. It is signed as California State Highway 14 along its length. It connects Greater Los Angeles to the rapidly developing Antelope Valley.  off-ramp.

Found lying beside a tree in a landscaped area at the freeway's southbound Avenue K on-ramp March 24, the man was determined to have died from high blood pressure and heart disease, coroner's officials said.

``According to sheriff's deputies, he was identified as a local transient in the area,'' said Craig Harvey, Los Angeles County's chief coroner investigator.

``No wallet or identification was found on him at all.''

 No. 56, the man may have come to Lancaster from the Bakersfield area, officials said.

About 45 to 55 years old, the man was white, about 5-foot-7 and weighed 150 pounds, with graying brown hair and brown eyes, a full beard, no upper teeth and partial lower teeth, coroner's officials said.

He had on him a bank deposit slip from a nearby Bank of America
