PTT Telecom launches "Personal Number" service; technology provided by AccessLine.

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 1996--AccessLine Technologies announced today that "Personal Number" service is now available in the Netherlands.

Offered by PTT (1) (Postal, Telegraph & Telephone) The governmental agency responsible for combined postal, telegraph and telephone services in many European countries.

PTT Telecom's service, called simply Personal Number, can reach a customer at any number or device, worldwide, through a single number. Personal Number also allows subscribers to control when and where they receive calls. Calls that are not urgent can be automatically routed to voice mail, and integrated paging capabilities allow subscribers to receive notification of incoming messages. Personal Number service also accepts incoming faxes for subscribers through the same single number.

The Technology

The AccessLine technology is operating in several countries around the world and in several languages.
