PTI to launch membership campaign in Punjab soon.

LAHORE , July 16, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf would soon start the membership campaign throughout Punjab to make the party more strong among the masses and a strategy has been evolved accordingly. This was decided in a party meeting of the executive committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab which was held under the chairmanship of provincial chief, Ahsan Rasheed here, Thursday. PTI Chairman Imran Khan will also visit different districts in the province to motivate the masses and expedite the membership campaign. The executive committee strongly criticised the postponement of the local bodies elections and the appointment of the administrators by replacing the present nazims, and demanded that the local bodies elections should be held as per schedule and in case conditions were not ripe for the elections the present nazims should be allowed to continue. The executive committee called upon the government to examine its different policies and take measures to check price hike in the petroleum products and load shedding. Different resolutions were also unanimously passed during the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Gen. Sec, Raja Javaid Mujtaba, Sr. Vice pres. Tariq Farooq Mirza, Vice Pres. min Zaki, Jawaid Yaseen watto, Shafiq Khan, Sec. Information Dr. Shahid Siddique Khan, Pres. Women Punjab Mrs. Salonoi Bokhari, joint sec, Nadeem Qadir Bhandar, Mian Khalid, Finance Sec. Shoukat Ali Ch. President Lahore Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed, Saloni Bukhari, Javaid Yaseen and party workers.
