PSE&G launches new program for NJ Business Enhancement.


Public Service Electric and Gas Company The Public Service Electric and Gas Company (commonly known as PSE&G, and originally known as the Public Service Corporation of New Jersey) (NYSE: PEG) is a regulated, publicly owned gas and electric utility company in the state of New Jersey, USA.  (PSE&G), New Jersey's largest utility, in cooperation with the State of New Jersey and local government, is launching a Business Enhancement Program to assist New Jersey firms in improving their competitive advantage.

To kick off the program, a Business Enhancement Seminar was conducted for over 200 businesses in Passaic Passaic, city, United States

"Sponsored by PSE&G, in cooperation with the State of New Jersey and Passaic County, the seminar was an initiative consistent with recommended strategies of the Business Attraction & Retention Committee of NJ Governor Jim Florio's recent Economic Development Conference," Comerford said.

The Seminar highlighted state, county and PSE&G business assistance programs available and will included presentations by Governor Florio; George R. Zoffinger, commissioner, New Jersey Department of Commerce and Economic Development; William Pascrell, Jr., mayor of Paterson; Norman M. Robertson, deputy director, Passaic Board of Freeholders; Ronni D. Rose, director of Economic Development, County of Passaic; Robert J. Dougherty, Jr., senior vice president - Customer Operations, PSE&G; John H. Maddocks, vice president - Public Affairs Those public information, command information, and community relations activities directed toward both the external and internal publics with interest in the Department of Defense.  Comerford, an ongoing Business Enhancement Program Network will be implemented to monitor concerns of individual businesses and respond to them in a timely and professional manner.

The PSE&G BEP campaign includes a new 15-page brochure, which identifies the many government and PSE&G business assistance programs available in New Jersey. The brochure outlines how businesses can take advantage or learn more about any of the programs by utilizing the Business Enhancement Program Network.
