US$53.6 million to begin producing the Peugeot 307 at its plant in
Buenos Aires Buenos Aires (bwā`nəs ī`rēz, âr`ēz, Span. bwā`nōs ī`rās), city and federal district (1991 pop. in 2004. The investment will yield 16,000 units of the new
model in its first year, and Peugeot plans to export 60% of that
production to the rest of Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. .
