Corporate Tech PR Departments and Individuals Voted "Best of the Best" by Journalists

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- PRSourceCode, an IT-focused content service provider connecting the public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  (PR), journalism, conference, and industry accolade communities, today announced the results of the 2009 Corporate Top Tech Communicators awards, which reveal the top 15 corporate PR departments and 20 corporate PR professionals in technology, as voted by the IT editorial community.

This news follows PRSourceCode's July 28th announcement of the Agency Top Tech Communicators award winners. The Corporate Top Tech Communicators awards are based on a Q2 2009 survey of more than 500 journalists and bloggers that asked participants to name their "top" corporate PR department and individual PR professional, based on responsiveness, knowledge of the industry, knowledge of individual journalist preferences, and more.

"Media relations can be challenging in that PR professionals have to understand their clients and industry as a whole - plus know the publications, know the individual reporters' preferences, and know how, when, and why to pitch," says Cole Smith, national sales director for PRSourceCode. "Outstanding PR professionals are essential to the news process as a whole by helping to provide the most comprehensive news to readers. Congratulations to all of this year's winners."
