PROSECUTORS MAY CHARGE TWO TEENS.

Prosecutors are expected to file criminal charges today against two 17-year-olds accused of killing a man who followed them in a mistaken belief that they were burglars, officials said Tuesday Tuesday: see week. .

Police say Zuniga thought someone was breaking into his home, in the 8700 block of Wakefield Avenue, so he followed them in his white Jeep. As it turned out, the two 17-year-olds were banging on the window of Zuniga's sister's room in an attempt to visit her, Fisk said.

The teens, arrested on suspicion of murder, were not identified because of their ages. One of them was taken into custody Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week.  at his home in Panorama City, and the other surrendered at the Van Nuys police station Monday, the detective said.

Fisk said he is urging prosecutors to try the pair as adults.
