PROJECT ANGEL FOOD AND GREYSTON FOUNDATION TO SHARE $50,000 IN PROCEEDS FROM PREMIERE OF NEW LINE CINEMA'S 'THREE OF HEARTS'
Premieres in New York and Los Angeles to Benefit AIDS Charities `Three of Hearts' Stars William Baldwin, Kelly Lynch and Sherilyn Fenn to Attend Festivities LOS ANGELES, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The upcoming Los Angeles and New York premieres of New Line Cinema's romantic comedy "Three of Hearts" has raised an estimated $50,000 for AIDS charities in both cities, it was announced today by Chris Pula, president of New Line Theatrical Marketing. The New York premiere of "Three of Hearts" takes place Tuesday evening, April 27, at the Loew's 57th Street Playhouse to benefit the Greyston Foundation AIDS Housing Project. The foundation is developing Westchester County's first permanent residence and adult health center for those with HIV infection or AIDS. Project Angel Food is the beneficiary of the Los Angeles "Three of Hearts" premiere, scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 29 at the Directors Guild of America. Project Angel Food, established in 1989, is a daily "meals on wheels" program delivering 2,400 meals per week to homebound men, women and children with AIDS. "We have had an unprecedented number of responses for tickets to the benefit premieres on both coasts," said Pula. "New Line is extremely pleased that `Three of Hearts' can benefit two very worthwhile charities. We expect that ticket sales will ultimately exceed the $50,000 already raised."
