Built on the proven, distributed management architecture of PROGNOSIS, version 7.06 delivers next-generation distributed systems and application management. Specifically designed to manage dynamic business-critical computing environments, PROGNOSIS 7.06 addresses the issues administrators experience in managing continually changing environments such as Internet, e-business and distributed applications.

Web transaction monitoring -- PROGNOSIS 7.06 continuously monitors website response from the customer experience. It identifies performance problems by providing in-depth breakdowns of web pages, download times, true end-to-end transaction response time measurement, and website and email availability tracking.

Brand-new browser interface -- The PROGNOSIS 7.06 browser interface provides the flexibility to remotely view system and application data independent of platform or location. Via intranet, extranet or Internet, vital system information is accessible using any web browser from the desktop.

UNIX filesystem performance and space management -- PROGNOSIS 7.06 delivers application storage resource monitoring using new metrics such as files, directories, filesystems, disks, processes, and ports open.

Additional OSS performance and ServerNet cluster throughput information -- PROGNOSIS 7.06 provides advanced functionality for the management of critical components of Compaq Zero Latency Enterprise (ZLE) applications on the latest NonStop Himalaya clusters.

Out-of-the-box application management -- PROGNOSIS 7.06 provides even more information for the management of critical environments running Oracle (Nasdaq:ORCL) and IBM (NYSE:IBM) MQSeries(R) applications.
