Production of several different plays in a single season by a resident acting company. The plays chosen may be classic works by famous dramatists or new works by emerging playwrights, and the companies that perform them often serve as a training ground for

The classes will be instructed by professional working actors and directors, meeting with students twice a week for six weeks. The focus will be on scene study and cold reading for auditions. The cost is $180. Call (661) 222-7278 to sign up for any of the following classes.

Beginning Scene Study for 8- to 10-year-olds, meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays with instructors Jim Sudik and Paco Vela vela

Beginning Scene Study for 11- to 14-year-olds, meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturdays, also with Sudik and Vela.

Beginning/Intermediate Scene Study for 15- to 18-year-olds, meeting from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays with instructor Shannon Penrod.

Beginning/Intermediate Scene Study for adults, meeting from 8 to 10 p.m. Thursdays and 2 to 4 p.m. Saturdays with instructor Jim Miller Jim Miller may refer to any of the following individuals:
