PRINCE + VILLAGE PEOPLE TO SUE SWEDISH WEBSITE

PRINCE and the VILLAGE PEOPLE plan to sue a Swedish website for allowing users to download their songs without permission.

However, attorneys representing the music acts admit securing the lawsuit is proving difficult because they cannot identify the culprits.

Lawyer Lars Sandberg believes the targets are likely to be "four people (already) charged as well as firms linked to the site".

He adds, "We have not yet decided whom the case is going to be directed against."

Sandberg says the musicians are seeking "several million dollars (pounds)" in both Sweden and the U.S.

Last March (07), Swedish prosecutors charged four people they believed to be behind the site.
