PRIMERICA FINANCIAL SERVICES NAMES HAGERMAN CEO OF CANADIAN AFFILIATES

 ATLANTA, Nov. 20 ~PRNewswire~ -- Michael Gordon Hagerman is joining Primerica Financial Services as CEO of its Canadian affiliates, it was announced today by Edwin M. Cooperman, chairman and chief executive officer of Primerica Financial Services Group.
 In his newly created position, Hagerman will head all aspects of marketing and operations for the company's Canadian operations, including Primerica Financial Services, LTD, Primerica Life Insurance Company of Canada and PFSL Investments Canada, LTD.

 Hagerman joins Primerica Financial Services from SyndiCare Inc., a Toronto-based multi-national consulting firm where he has served as managing director for the past two years. His broad-based duties at SyndiCare included structuring new marketing strategies and consulting work for major financial


institutions on restructuring, reorganizing, acquisition and refinancing opportunities. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of Deak International where he was responsible for commercial and retail foreign exchange operations in Canada, U.S.A., U.K., Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. From 1980 until 1988, Hagerman co-founded UNIGLOBE, one of the world's largest travel franchise organizations. Under his leadership, UNIGLOBE grew from start-up status to more than 600 offices with sales in excess of $1.2 billion. Before that, he was president of his own financial consulting firm, Hagerman & Associates.
 Hagerman holds an M.B.A. degree and a B.A. in business administration from the University of Western Ontario, where he also served on the faculty for two years upon graduation.
 Primerica Financial Services LTD., Primerica Life of Canada, PFSL Investments, LTD. are all subsidiaries of Primerica Corporation (NYSE: PA), a diversified financial services company with assets of approximately $23 billion as of Sept. 30.
