While ``Idol'' may be in the process of cutting the contestant list to 24, this figure skating night won't cut anyone - except maybe target a few potential participants for the next ``Skating with the Stars.''

The problem with going to Bode Miller's Nike web site (joinbode.com) is there's no list of the favorite watering holes he likes to visit before hitting the slopes. If he pulls off another non-medal-winning performance in the men's combined (downhill and slalom), does Nike start rethinking about pulling those commercial spots with him?

The U.S. women, after two rather pedestrian shutout wins, finally gets a test against Finland, gearing up toward Friday's semifinals and the anticipated matchup against wicked-tough Canada in Monday's gold-medal game.

MEASURING UP

The Olympics topped ``Desperate Housewives'' - the first time any NBC program has done that - but couldn't beat ``Grey's Anatomy'' on Sunday night. The third night of competition drew 23.6 million viewers, bringing to 112 million the total viewers for NBC's first three prime-time nights of Olympic coverage. Sunday's telecast drew a 13.5 rating and 20 share, outrating ABC ABC
 in full American Broadcasting Co.
