PRICE WATERHOUSE APPOINTS REISS, DINAPOLI, NATIONAL CO-DIRECTORS OF CORPORATE RECOVERY SERVICES

 LOS ANGELES, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Price Waterhouse today announced that M. Freddie Reiss and Dominic DiNapoli have been appointed national co-directors of Corporate Recovery Services for the U.S. firm. The practice provides comprehensive financial, operational and litigation advice to debtors, creditors, equity shareholders and lenders dealing with companies in transition because of reorganization, restructuring, merger, acquisition, divestiture, bankruptcy and dissolution.
 Reiss, based in Los Angeles, is currently the partner responsible for Price Waterhouse's reorganization and bankruptcy services in the Western region. He has worked on more than 45 major business restructurings and bankruptcies, including Financial Corp. of America, Carter Hawley Hale and First Executive Corp. Reiss has extensive experience as a financial advisor in litigation and reorganization matters, and has testified extensively, e.g. forensic accounting investigations, fraudulent conveyance analyses, insolvency and feasibility on plans of reorganization.
 Reiss joined Price Waterhouse in 1988 as a partner. He is a CPA in both California and New York and received his BBA degree from City College of New York. Professional activities include membership in the American Institute of CPA's, the California Society of CPAs, the Association of Insolvency Accountants and the American Bankruptcy Institute's Committee on Professional Fees. He is a member of the board of directors of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, and is the author of numerous articles and speeches. He resides in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
 DiNapoli, based in Price Waterhouse's New York office, is currently the partner in charge of corporate recovery services for the East Coast region, participating in a wide variety of bankruptcy and insolvency-related assignments. DiNapoli has represented creditors in many of the nation's largest corporate insolvency cases and is currently the court-appointed trustee responsible for liquidating the $400 million in assets of Long Island (New York) businessman John McNamara, turned over to the federal government in one of the largest civil forfeitures in U.S. history.
 DiNapoli joined Price Waterhouse in 1984 and became a partner in 1988. He is a CPA in both New York and New Jersey and received his bachelor of science degree from Montclair State College. DiNapoli is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the New York and New Jersey Societies of CPAs. He is also the co-editor and author of the book "Workouts and Turnarounds: The Handbook of Restructuring and Investing in Distressed Companies." He resides in Saddle River, N.J.
