The Valley affair was set up when both teams won their semifinal matches Monday. The top-seeded Conquistadores defeated Carson 19 1/2-10 behind four wins from No. 2 singles player Matt Jones, and the Highlanders, seeded second, beat University 17-8. Jones has never won a boys' city championship at Taft but has won three with the girls' team. ``It would be a dream come true,'' said Jones, in his first year with the Conquistadores. ``We're excited about having a chance to play in the city finals.''
