PREP FOOTBALL : STREAK ENDS FOR FLINTRIDGE PREP.

Bryant Wolfsberger, Wayland Williams and Andrew Jennings combined for 194 yards rushing and helped Capistrano Valley Christian maintain possession for most of the final quarter as the Eagles (2-3) upset No. 5-ranked Flintridge Prep 16-7 Saturday in a Division XII nonleague game at Pasadena City College.

Flintridge Prep (3-2), which had won three straight, opened the scoring in the second quarter when Adam Ross threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Evan Cablayan. But the Eagles matched that score when Jennings returned the ensuing kickoff 92 yards for a TD and they took a 14-7 lead on Williams' 1-yard TD run in the third quarter.

Salesian 35, Bell-Jeff 6: The Mustangs (2-3, 1-1) scored on their first five possessions en route to a Sante Fe League victory over the Guards at Burroughs High School.

Bell-Jeff (0-5, 0-2), which suited up only 17 players due to injuries, was led by running back Dominic Domingo, who rushed for 81 yards on 11 carries and scored on a 3-yard touchdown run with 3:57 left in the game.

Backfield mate David Montes added 45 yards on 21 carries and threw a 66-yard completion to his brother Danny Montes to set up the Guards' touchdown.

St. Genevieve 48, Bosco Tech 14: The Valiants (2-3, 1-1) scored on five first-half possessions to build a 34-6 halftime lead in a Santa Fe League game at Cantwell High School.

Running back Danny Buhler rushed for 83 yards on 10 carries and scored on runs of 3, 1 and 45 yards.

L.A. Lutheran 46, South Bay Lutheran 6: Chris White rushed for 237 yards and four touchdowns, and Daniel Morton added two more TDs on 75 yards rushing as the Lions (3-1, 1-0) opened Heritage League with a win over the visiting Waves (0-2-1, 0-1) in an 8-man large division game.

Faith Baptist 46, Masada Masada (məsā`də), ancient mountaintop fortress in Israel, the final outpost of the Zealot Jews in their rebellion against Roman authority (A.D. 66–73). Located in the Judaean Desert, the fortress sits atop a mesa-shaped rock that towers some 1,300 ft (400 m) above the western shore of the Dead Sea. 0: David Arellano, Steve Plise and Victor Covarrubias each scored two touchdowns.
