PREP FOOTBALL: DECISION TIME FOR ATHLETES.

With football signing day Feb. 4, here is a look at what is going on with area recruits:

--Braden Lepisto, Agoura: The receiver will be attending the prestigious Wharton School of Business at Pennsylvania.

``The whole process, I was really leaning toward the Ivy League Ivy League

Group of eight universities in the northeastern U.S., high in academic and social prestige, that are members of an athletic conference for intercollegiate gridiron football dating to the 1870s.
,'' Lepisto said. ``What you can get out of it once you're done with the college experience is above any Division I football program.''

--Tahj Mowry, Westlake: Committed to play at Division I-AA Savannah Savannah, city, United States

--Ryan Sorenson, Westlake: The offensive lineman has some academic questions because of class disparities resulting from his transfer from Newbury Park to Westlake. He has oral offers from Arizona, San Jose San Jose, city, United States
San Jose (sănəzā`, săn hōzā`), city (1990 pop. 782,248), seat of Santa Clara co., W central Calif.; founded 1777, inc. 1850.
 State and Wyoming. He visited Wyoming last weekend and is trying to plan a trip to Arizona.

--K.C. Croal, Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame : The linebacker could be the next Ivy League commit. He visited Pennsylvania last weekend and is scheduled for Columbia this weekend.

--Joe Dickson, Sylmar: The defensive back received a qualifying SAT score and is getting interest from Oregon State.

--Raul Suarez, Sylmar: The big offensive lineman is getting interest from San Diego State but needs to raise his test scores.

--Benny Ward, Birmingham: The receiver favors Washington State and has a visit upcoming. He is waiting for the score of his last SAT attempt.

--Kreig Peters, Antelope Valley: The defensive back is taking a trip to Fresno State today. Fresno is talking to him about grayshirting.
