Staff Writer There's still almost a month before national letter of intent signing day for football on Feb. 4, which means it's nervous time for many of the area's top recruits who have yet to solidify their choices. The Antelope Valley of Lancaster running back/defensive back Kreig Peters says the next few weeks will be an excruciating waiting game, spent mostly by the phone. ``It's tough, man, hopefully someone comes to you or the school you're waiting for calls,'' Peters said. ``I'm just trying to get what I can get.'' Peters has taken a trip to Colorado State. He was hosted by former Antelopes quarterback Johnny Walker, who grayshirted this year. He has another trip lined up Jan. 23 with Fresno State, which he says is his top choice. Both schools are interested in him as a cornerback. Peters is also close friends with several of the players from Palmdale in similar situations. Wide receiver Justin Shaw has the most promising prospects, with trips scheduled to Utah and Washington State. Peters' best friend, defensive back T.J.
