Robnett helped the Wolverines (6-3) win the consolation championship in the Small School's Division of the Santa Barbara Tournament last week. Robnett proved dominant in the paint, averaging 24 points over three games.

In Harvard-Westlake's 51-39 championship victory over Chatsworth on Wednesday, Robnett had 28 points and eight rebounds. In the Wolverines' lopsided victory over Rincon Valley Christian, Robnett was 10 of 15 from the field, finishing with 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists. She also had 22 points, eight rebounds and five steals in the Wolverines' 45-41 win over Presentation.

``We really relied on her scoring last week to get over the hump,'' said Harvard-Westlake coach Brian Taylor, whose team faced Etiwanda in the first round of the Best of the West tournament Monday in Ayala. ``She's getting a lot more shots this year and has become our go-to player.''

Branduinn Fullove Forward/Guard

Simi Valley 

Fullove, considered the region's top returning player, helped lead the Pioneers to the championship of the Reebok Holiday Prep Classic in Las Vegas. He scored more than 20 points three times, including 28 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-48 win over Champagnet, Fla., Wednesday in the final.

Fullove, a 6-5 senior forward/guard who is headed to UC Santa Barbara next year, also had 28 points and seven rebounds Tuesday in a 74-57 victory over Las Vegas Western. He also had 20 points in a 71-56 rout of Chugiak, Alaska, on Monday.

He was named the tournament's most valuable player.

Of course, Fullove could easily have shared the award with teammate Brett Michel, who also enjoyed a terrific week in Las Vegas while earning all-tournament honors. Fullove and Michel have powered the Pioneers' fast start this year. Simi Valley was 9-0 heading into Monday's first-round game of the Nike Classic at Torrey Pines.
