PPG patents pigment dispersion.


Patent No. U.S. 7,011,767 B2

PPG Industries has been granted a patent for a pigment dispersion that is liquid at room temperature and below. The patent comprises a pigment dispersed in a blend of two or more active hydrogen-containing materials, wherein each active hydrogen-containing material may have a different freezing point, wherein the Hegman measurement of the dispersion after one freeze-thaw cycle is >4, and the dispersion comprises one percent weight or less of water.
