A new clarified PP mer is designed as a less expensive alternative to PET for extrusion blow molded or stretch-blow molded packaging that requires both clarity and toughness. Petrothene PP33HF04 from Equistar Chemicals LP in Houston has a narrow molecular-weight distribution that is said to provide excellent warp warp: see weaving.
