POWERSOFT AND DIGITAL ANNOUNCE AVAILABILITY OF POWERBUILDER 4.0 FOR ALPHA NT; Companies Will Jointly Market and Promote Product Through Bundle, Seminars.


CONCORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 1995--Powersoft Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation today announced the immediate availability of PowerBuilder 4.0 for Alpha NT. This announcement is a continuation of the strategic relationship the two companies have had for several years. As part of the joint sales and marketing efforts, Powersoft and Digital will deliver a nationwide series of joint solutions seminars this spring and offer a promotional bundle of PowerBuilder for Alpha NT and Digital's AlphaStation 200 4/166 workstation.

    Powersoft and Digital are offering a PowerBuilder and AlphaStation 200 4/166 workstation bundle for an introductory price of $10,895.00 (SRP SRP - A data link layer protocol.  $13,789.00). An additional bundle of Digital's Celebris 590 Intel Pentium system and PowerBuilder Enterprise for Windows NT is being offered for $8,862.00 (SRP $9,992.00). These offers are available until July 31, 1995 and can be purchased through Avnet, a Digital reseller.
